Whenever I hear about wild pigs, or wild boars, I think immediately of the peccaries that I first saw at the zoo in San Diego. They look like wild pigs, but are classified differently; ("peccary" is, in German,"Halsbandpekari"). I felt immediately that I knew these animals very well.
